Marsha W. Boone, 51, of Lancaster PA, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt Joy, PA after a valiant nine year battle with cancer.
Marsha was an elementary school teacher at the King Elementary School for the School District of Lancaster.
She was very active in her church, New Song Fellowship Church, Lancaster. She was passionate about her faith, continuing her skills as a Christian teacher. Marsha will be fondly remembered by friends and family as one who humbly served Christ, and as a devoted mother.
Marsha was born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Gloria Rhinier Work.
Marsha is survived by her daughter, Rebekah, Lancaster; her sister; Marjean, wife of Todd Long, Lancaster, and 2 nieces; Jordan and Madison.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at New Song Fellowship Church, 609 Prospect Street, Lancaster, PA at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 19, 2013. The family will visit with friends at the church following the memorial service. Private interment at the convenience of the family.
