SURFSIDE BEACH - Mrs. Gertrude Marie Hunter Nordstrom, 73, a retired teacher, died Wednesday at her residence.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Fort Meyer Chapel at Arlington National Cemetery. Local arrangements are by Bullard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nordstrom was born at Arlington, Va., a daughter of the late Robert Bentwood Hunter and Mrs. Elizabeth Tyndal Hunter. She had lived in Surfside Beach for 14 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church at Washington, D.C.
Surviving are: her husband, Arthur H. Nordstrom of Surfside Beach; a son, Arthur H. Nordstrom Jr. of North Arlington, Va.; a daughter Mrs. Neala N. Carter of Chase City, Va.; two brothers, Donald Hunter of Washington, D.C., and Paul B. Hunter of Florida, and six grandchildren.
