Alvin Lee Cowey passed away on May 4 at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alma Cowey. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Cowey; son Larry Eugene Cowey and wife Lorene of Seguin; son Brady Allen Cowey of Universal City; daughter Christina LaRue Cowey of Seguin; grandchildren: Courtney, Joshua, Cammie, Gunner; brother, Albert Cowey and wife Barbara of Seguin; nieces and nephews Clifton, Darrell, Eric, Fairah, and their families, and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Goetz Memorial Chapel from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 6 with the family present from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in Goetz Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 7 with interment following at Tabor Cemetery.
