Obituary:
Alvin Lee Cowey passed away on May 4 at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alma Cowey. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Cowey; son Larry Eugene Cowey and wife Lorene of Seguin; son Brady Allen Cowey of Universal City; daughter Christina LaRue Cowey of Seguin; grandchildren: Courtney, Joshua, Cammie, Gunner; brother, Albert Cowey and wife Barbara of Seguin; nieces and nephews Clifton, Darrell, Eric, Fairah, and their families, and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Goetz Memorial Chapel from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 6 with the family present from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in Goetz Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 7 with interment following at Tabor Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hillcrest Assembly of God or to the charity of one's choice. Please visit our online register book at www.goetzfuneral.com.
