Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm, Friday, January 21,2005 in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories with Rev. Stan Allcorn officiating, services are directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
Janice was born to the late Garcie (McMurty) and Wallace W. Bowen on August 21,1941 in Farmington NM. She was employed by Home Health Care in Abilene, and a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband Carl Archer; brother, Wallace Wesley Bowen Jr and wife Joyce Bowen, brother Charles Bowen and brother-in-law Bill Hazen.
Survivors include sisters, Ruth Fleming of Dove Creek CO, Valley Gifford (Bill) Zachrey of Bloomfield NM, Francis Sally (Bob)Hazen of Farmington NM, Margaret Hazen of Hillsboro TX, Ethel (Steve) Woods of TN, and a brother, Arthur Bowen of Pampa TX. A friend Jin Stracener of Abilene TX and sister-in-law Lucy Bowen of Bakersfield CA.
