Jean Giovina R. Heard, 80, of Roseto, passed away on December 27th at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg surrounded by her family. Born: Jean was born July 11th, 1931 in Roseto. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine DiFede Renaldo. Personal: Jean graduated from Bangor High School in 1949 and attended Churchman Business School. She was employed at Kaiser Knitting in Bangor and as a decorator at Zollinger Harned Department Store in Allentown. She spent many years working at Kay's Tailor Shop, Bangor. Memberships: She was a member of the O.L.M.0 Sodality with whom she shared a special reverence for the Blessed Mother, and of the Roseto chapter of the Ladies of UNICO and of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fr. DeNisco Council of the Knights of Columbus #3862. Survivors: She is survived by her husband William W. Heard, whom she married August 19th, 1967; as well as her sons, William F and his wife Melissa of Roseto, Thomas P. and his wife Susan of Easton, and Walter 0. and his wife Allison of Easton; and grandchildren, Austin, Kayla, Daisy, Adeline, and Eliza; and her brothers, and sisters, Michael Renaldo of Wayne, NJ, Peter Renaldo of Melbourne, FL, Patricia Beck of Roseto, and Doris Onder, of Edison, NJ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandson David. Services: A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on January 7th, 2012 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Roseto. Visiting hours will be held at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Arrangements are being coordinated by Samuel A. Campanaro Funeral Home Inc., Bangor, PA. Burial will be held in New Catholic Cemetery, Roseto, PA. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the O.L.M.C. School Library, 80 Ridge St., Roseto, PA 18013.
