"Jessie Cleo Johnson, age 82, of Bearden, died Sunday, January 9, 2005.
"Born December 9, 1922 in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Cicero Johnson and Swannie Mauldin Johnson.
"He was a former owner and operator of Champagnolle Creek Boat Dock and a member of the Church of Christ.
"Survivors include his wife Evie Johnson of Bearden; three sons, Jessie Alvin Johnson of Memphis, TN; Clarence Wayne Johnson of Bearden and Kenneth Cleo Johnson of Moulton, AL; one daughter, Bonnie Lou Marashi of El Dorado; one brother, Robert L. Johnson of Woodberry and nine grandchildren.
"Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, in the Benton Funeral Home Chapel of Fordyce. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
