Brenda Sue Douglas Gabbard was the daughter of John C Douglas and Thelma Ruth Morris Douglas. She spent her young years in Green Forest, Ark and graduated in 1971. She attended the University of Arkansas before marrying Darrell Gabbard in July 1973. They were the parents of two sons, Jeremy and Jason. She was proudly retired from Claims Management Inc. and attended Ridgeview Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
She is survived by her husband Darrell Gabbard, Sons Jeremy Gabbard (wife Rachel) and Jason Gabbard(wife Tamara) and her grandchildren, Jarron,Tyler, Jayden, Kaylia, Haven, Kiara, Olivia, and Adalyn, her "Elite Eight". She was a proud sister of four siblings: Christine Hale(husband Jimmy), her late sister Lorene Wheatley, her late brother Homer "H B" Douglas, and her sister Charlette Peterson (husband John). She was also loved by her brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Shawn Gabbard.
Funeral Services were held at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Brown Officiating.
