Mrs. Sheryl Lea McAdams Scott age 65 of Gulfport, MS entered eternity Saturday, January 12, 2013. Born March 28, 1947 in Leadville, CO to Tom and Helena McAdams, and lived most of her life in Pascagoula, MS . She was a homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church. She attended Pascagoula High School where she met and later married Terry Scott, Sr. the father of her three children.
She will be joining her father Tom McAdams and a grandson Terry D.C. Logan in eternity.
Among her survivors are two sons Terry Scott Jr. and his wife Terri of Pascagoula, MS, Michael Scott and his wife Allison of Pascagoula, MS; one daughter Shirley Brehm and her husband Dale of New Orleans, LA; her mother Helena (Gerald) Barrilleaux of Gulfport, MS ; five brothers Gerry ( Iva) McAdams , Mike ( Debbie) McAdams, John ( Julie) McAdams, Tommy (Valena) McAdams and Gordon McAdams ; three sisters, Shirley (Mike) Ladnier , Marie McAdams and Sandra ( Eddie) Robertson; nine grandchildren , Jesse , Jason, Alison, Madison and Brayden Scott, Brooxanne Crump , Mark Logan, Kristopher Morris and Eli Ehlers ; two great-grandchildren, Jesse Scott Jr. and Sheala Scott; special friend, A.J. Lynd as well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at from the Chapel of O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Pascagoula at 2pm with Brother John Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 to 2. The family would like to send a special Thank You to all the loving hands and hearts that cared for our Mother during her time of illness at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
