Terry was my brother-in-law. Even though he and my sister eventually divorced, Terry remained a part of our family.

He was a happy guy, with an infectious laugh, and an animated personality that seemed to always draw you in, despite your better judgement. :)

He is survived by his two children, Shane and Candace, parents, Bill and Joyce, sister Charlotte and brother Mike, niece, Danielle, nephews, Richard and Todd, and many, many friends who will always remember him with a smile, and perhaps a tear.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny, and baby nephew Joshua James Hurst , and his beloved dog and side-kick, Sam. (Not to make light of anything, but he really loved that dog).

He was a professional tree cutter, and fell 40 feet from a tree he was cutting. He survived the fall, but had no brain activity, so his family was faced with the terrible decision to end life support, which, sadly, they did.
