Burton Allen, 71, of Sallis passed away January 9, 2013,
Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 12, at Culpepper Funeral Home chapel, with burial following in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to services starting at 9 am. Rev. George Pitts will officate the services.
Mr. Allen was a member of New Hope Baptist church. He was a retired Diesel Mechanic for Endevco.
He is preceded in death by parents, Cecil & Lorraine Turner Allen; wife, Jimmie Ruth Allen; daughter, Vickie Allen; son, Edward Burton Allen, Jr,; brothers, Lamar Allen, Ross Allen, Floyd Allen; sister, Evon Whittman.
He is survived by son, Steven (Cassie) Allen;Sisters, Evelyn Bishop, Doris Boatman; grandchildren, Josh Allen, Matthew Allen, Branden Allen; great grandchild Cole Allen.
