Robert Russell Hubley, 73, of Lower Cornwall, passed away at his home on Monday, February 2, 1987.
Born in Farmington, he was the son of the late George and Eva (Bezanson) Hubley.
He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Barkhouse; two daughters, Constance (Mrs. Percy Veinotte), Clearland; Shirley (Mrs. Sidney Demond), Winnipeg; four sons, Earl and Wayne, Lower Cornwall; Ronald, Winnipeg; Lenwood, Springfield; two brothers, Roy, Middle Cornwall; Lindsay, Mahone Bay; 23 grandchilldren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kathy Lynn; and a grandson, Philip.
The body rested at Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service was held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the New Cornwall United Baptist Church, Rev. Dale Rose officiating. Burial in the church cemetery, New Cornwall.
Pallbearers were Wayne Oickle, Byron and Eugene Barkhouse, Edward and Mark Veinotte, and Murray Dimmell.
