Estella Frances Miller, 77, of Framingham, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Inez (Jeffrey) Glennon. She was the wife of Frank Miller for 59 years. Mrs. Miller was employed as an accountant for Jordan Marsh and Zayre department stores and later, BJs Wholesale Club. She will also be remembered for her many years of service as a crossing guard in Framingham during the 1970s and 80s. Estella was a competitive bowler competing in several national bowling tournaments and later was an active member of the Framingham Seniors where she enjoyed bowling and bocce. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Frank Miller Jr. of Nashua, N.H., June Ouellette and her husband, Alan, of Sherborn, and Jane Gentile and her husband, Christopher, of Northbridge; and five grandchildren, Jeffrey and Sherrin Miller, Alan Ouellette Jr., and Melissa and Megan Gentile; one brother, James Glennon and his wife, Irene, of Saugus; and dear neighbors, Marsha and Carl Mighty, and their children, Carson and Morgan. She was the sister of the late Charles E. Glennon. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland with burial to follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham. Calling hours are Monday, Jan. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
