Herald and News, Jan. 17, 2013

Kristi Dawn Duncan passed away on Jan. 11, 2013, at the age of 33. She was involved in a horrible traffic accident on Highway 140 near Medford, Ore., that sent her home with Jesus.
Kristi was born March 25, 1979, to Dorothy (Duncan) Baldwin and Orville L. Duncan in Klamath Falls, Ore. She was the youngest of four children.
She returned to school and obtained her GED at Klamath Community College in May 2011. She later enrolled into that college and was studying hard and was so proud of her grades with a 4.0 point-grade average at the end of fall term in 2012.
She went to church at New Horizon Christian Fellowship.
Kristi loved her family and spent much time with them. If there was a family get-together and she could make it, she was there. She had a very giving heart and would do anything she could to help people if she could. She had medical problems, but never let that bring her down. Her babies were her three kitties. She had a beautiful smile and a feisty personality that matched her beautiful red hair.
Kristi loved to go camping, taking beautiful pictures, her numerous tattoos and was a loyal fan of the Oregon Ducks football team.
She is survived by her mother Dorothy Baldwin and step-father Roy Baldwin of Klamath Falls; sisters Alana Duncan of Klamath Falls and Lisa Strickland (husband Shannon) of Hughes Springs, Texas; brother Robert Duncan (wife Kasey) of Napavine, Wash.; step-sisters Nancy Burk (Ronnie) of Klamath Falls and Stacie Driscoll (husband James); and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Kristi was loved by many. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father Orville Duncan, her great-great-aunt Georgia McCaskey, her grandmother Ila M. Thody, and her grandfather "Papa" Robert Lee Duncan.
