Rosa Elizabeth Crawford age 86 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Crawford was born May 21, 1925 in Giles County, TN to Carl and Clara Hobbs.
Services will be Friday, May 4, 2012 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery with Bro. James Rolison and Don Davis officiating.
Mrs. Crawford was a member of Faith Baptist.
Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Clara Hobbs; brothers, Junior and Howard Hobbs; sister, Juanita Anderton.
Survived by her husband, John W. Crawford of Athens; three daughters, Joyce Hagood (Henry) of Athens, Glenda Bennett (James) of Glendale, AZ and Linda Ferrell (Gene) of Athens; two brothers, Charlie Hobbs of Athens and Gilbert Hobbs of Ardmore; five grandchildren, Glenn Hagood of Athens, Penny Krell (Allen) of Huntsville, Cindy Miller (Jeremy) of Athens, Nichole Hawkins (Matthew) of Phoenix, AZ and Jason Bennett (Tiffany) of Glendale, AZ; 8 great-grandchildren, Jarred Bennett, Jayden, Bennett, Jaycob Bennett, Jacson Bennett, Hannah Hawkins, Matthew Hawkins, Audrey Hawkins and Maggie Hawkins.
