Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held in the spring, in the Lewistown City Cemetery, where she will be buried with her husband and son. The Cloyd Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
Ethel was the last surviving child of 16 children born to Carlos (Bud) and Carmen Wallace. She was born in her mother's bedroom on May 13, 1920, on the farm in Brooks. At the time of her death she was living in Great Falls close to her daughter.
She is survived by one son, Richard Raymond (Donna) Jennings of Lewistown; one daughter, Sandra Lea (James) Whitaker of Great Falls; step children, Laurence D. (Fern) Jennings of Lewistown and Carol (David) Jennings Gray of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Laurence Swindell and Lyle Jennings; one, Son: Laurence Wayne Jennings ; her parents; and 15 siblings.
Friends are asked to make memorials to the Lewistown City Cemetery to help in the maintenance of the many family gravesites located there and they may be left at the Cloyd Funeral Home.
