Herbert Wallin, 77, of Emma
Road, died Wednesday at Hospice Solace Center.
Mr. Wallin was a native and
former residentof Madison Coun-
/ ty, a son of the late Jesse Venson
and Flossie Shelton Wallin.
He was an avid farmer and had
been employed by the ASCS
office, Dixie Burley Tobacco
Warehouse, and Asheville Pack-
ing Co.
Survivors include two daught-
ers: Janice Ramsey and Sandy
Clementson, both of Asheville;
one son: Edgar Wallin of Rich-
mond, Va.; two grandsons:
Darren" Johnson Deerfield I
Beach, Fla., and'Venson Wallin of Richmond; two sisters:' Rena
. Shelton and Glennis Ray, both of
Marshall; and. one brother: Clay-
ton Wallin of Richmond.
The. family will receive friends
from 6:30-8:30 this evening at
Bowman Funeral Home in
Marshall, and other times at 40
Lakeshore Drive, Asheville.
The funeral service will be held
at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel
of the funeral home. The Rev. Ebb; Jenkins will officiate.
