Double Funeral Conducted here today for William and Alonzo Haverstick

Double funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today for William P Haverstick, 76, of Lexington, and Alonzo A Haverstick, 70, of Mansfield, brothers, who died within 30 hours of each other Friday and Saturday.

Alonzo Haverstick, a resident of Mansfield for 20 years and a native of Lexington, succumbed at his home, 380 Springmill Street, Friday morning.

His brother, William, also and native of Lexington, died Saturday noon at the home of his son, William Haverstick Jr., in Lexington following a heart attack.

Surviving William Haverstick are two sons, William and Charles, both of Lexington: three daughters, Mrs Charles Osbun of Mansfield., Mrs William Wages of Niles, Michigan and Mrs Arthur Clever of Fredricktown, and two sisters, Mrs Margaret Bonham of Lexington and Mrs Adin Brinley of Erie, Michigan.

Officiating at the services this afternoon were Rev. E. G. Corwin, paster of the First M. E. Church and Rev. O. G. Messmore, Paster of the Lexington Congregational Church. Burial was in the Lexington Cemetery.
