Amherst-Miss Christina Deiss, 74, of North Ridge Road, died at the Lorain County Home at 4:30 a.m. today. She had been in failing health for some time since October, when other members of her family became ill and could not take care of her.
She is survived by two brothers, August and Henry, both in the Lorain Convalescent Home; four nieces, Mrs. Paul Filo, Edgewater, Fla., Mrs. Orvel Walker, Akron, Mrs. C.A. Rowley, Ashtabula and Mrs. Philip Wiegard of South Amherst.
The body is at the Zilch Funeral home, where it will remain for services at 3 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. J.H. Bollens of St. peter's Evangelical and Reformed church officiating.
