Blanche Lillian Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Anderson of Marion, N. Dak., was born June 18, 1907 at Marion. She grew up on the farm of her parents, attended the public schools and in due time took up her high school studies in the Marion High School. She also attended the Jamestown High School and after that she took a course of training in beauty culture at Fargo. For about three years she followed the work of beauty culture in the city of Bismarck.

On September 20, 1933 she was united in marriage to Robert J. Adam, the ceremony being performed in Linton, N. Dak. Her husband is county agent of McIntosh county, and the home has been at Ashley, N. Dak. She had membership in the Rebecca Lodge at Bismarck. Her church training was in the Congregational Church of Marion, which she always regarded as her church.

Her last illness followed the birth of a baby boy three weeks ago. She passed into eternal sleep on Thursday, March 11, aged 29 years, 8 months and 23 days.

She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Adam, and by her infant son, Robert James Adam II; by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Anderson; by four sisters, Mrs. Henry Roscoe of LaMoure, Mildred, Hazel and May Anderson of Marion; and two brothers, Alvin and Edgar Anderson of Marion.

Brief funeral services were held in Fargo at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, in charge of Rev. Clarence E. Parr of Plymouth Congregational Church. The body was then taken to Marion where the final services were held on Sunday, March 14, conducted by Ref. Thomas E. Nugent of Valley City. Following a short service at the farm home south of Marion, the last rites were observed in the Marion Congregational Church and she was laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Albert Knudsen, Art Knudsen, Paul W. Sitz, Cleo Flugga, Clifford Opdahl and Charles Struble.

Her passing is sincerely mourned by a very large number of friends who sadly regret her untimely death. She made many friends both in here home community and in Fargo and Bismarck, who extend sympathy to the husband and other relatives.
