Leon A. Berg, 74, of 134 Miami Ave., died at Elyria Memorial Hospital today at 7:48 a.m. after a three week illness.
Born in Camden Township, June 17, 1893, he had lived here the past 56 years. He retired from the General Industries Co after 51 years of service.
Mr. Berg was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Elyria Senior Fellowship Club.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Thomas F. Cushing, Elyria, and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist Church. Dr. Charles W. Hamilton will officiate and burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
Friends may call at the Wainwright Funeral Home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The body will be taken to the church Monday at 11 a.m. where the casket will remain closed.
