Amherst--Miss Edith Albrecht, 82, a former resident of Amherst, died yesterday at 2:35 p.m. in Wellington Rest Home following a long illness. She had resided there two years.
Miss Albrecht was born in Mecklenburg, Germany, Jan 6, 1876, and after coming to the United States at the age of seven, had lived in Amherst most of her life. She was formerly employed at the former Lattin Co. of Amherst and Elyria and was a former member of St. Peter United Church of Christ.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Augusta Moebius, Amherst and three nephews, Walter E., Edward L., and Franklin L. Moebius, all of Amherst.
Friends will be received at the Garland Funeral Home after 7:30 p.m. today. The Rev. Guy J. Moyer, pastor of St Peter Church will officiate at services Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the family lot at Crown Hill Cemetery.
