Monger Service
The funeral service for Mrs. Cynthia B. Monger, lifelong resident of Amherst, will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Garland Funeral Home, Amherst, with the Rev. William P. VanderWyden officiating. Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
Friends will be received in the funeral home tomorrow, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Monger, who lived at 480 S. Main St., Amherst, died Sunday in Dover Nursing Home, Bay Village, after an illness of several months. She was a member of Amherst Congregational United Church of Christ. Women's Benefit Association of the Maccabees, Pythian Sisters, 179 of Lorain, Past Chiefs Club and Golden Age Club.
Surviving are two sons, Richard A. of Avon Lake and Geoffrey J. of Bay Village; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, Henry A. died in 1956 and a son, Philip died in May 1970
