Amherst Jan. 4-Mrs. Minnie Burr, better known as "Grandma Burr", passed away at 9:30 Thursday morning at the home of her son, Henry Grugel, 569 West street, following an illness of a few days. The deceased was born in Germany and came to Amherst when 22 years old where she has resided ever since. Surviving are 4 sons; Henry Grugel, with whom she resided, Ernst Grugel, Brownhelm, Herman Grugel, Buffalo, N.Y. and William Grugel, Wilkesbarre, Pa. and 13 grandchildren. Mrs. Grugel was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and also of the Ladies Aid Society. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from St. Paul's Lutheran church preceded by private services from the late home at 1:30 Rev. Henry Abram will officiate. Burial will be made in Crown Hill cemetery.
