Amherst-Mrs. Lillian Beetler, 72, of 1430 Middle Ridge Rd., died yesterday at 12:20 p.m. in Amherst Manor Nursing Home after a several month's illness.
Mrs. Beetler was born in Meigs County, March 19, 1892, and had lived in Amherst most of her life. She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church. Her husband, Carl F. Beetler, died in 1941.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Oliver M. Kolbe, of Amherst; a son, Paul F. Beetler, of Redlands, Calif.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Alexander and Mrs. Gordon Leah, both of Columbus and a brother, John Busch, of Athens.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert W. Sutherland will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
