Martha (Marty) Jean Ball (nee Davis), 88, passed away November 17, 2015. Dearest mother of Mark (Nancy) and Brad (Chris). Beloved Grandmother to Justin and Faith Davis. Preceded in death by her husband, Lee Ball and sister in law Phyllis.
Marty was born in Bellfontaine, Ohio, on February 5, 1927 to the late Elwood and Ruth Davis. She resided in Columbus, Ohio, for many years working in the welfare department. Her greatest joy was raising her two sons. After the death of her husband in 2004, she moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, to be closer to her grandchildren. Above all else she loved and enjoyed her sons, daughter in laws, grandchildren, as well as her many friends and other family members.
