Dormont - Matthew Daniel Bowers, 58, of Dormont, went to be home with her Lord, Jesus, Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, after a long-fought battle with multiple health issues. He was the beloved father of Matthew (Jessica), Jacqueline (Erik) Ingram, Renee (James) Vano, Mason and Leonard; beloved son of Mildred (Daugherty) and the late Ralph Bowers; beloved grandfather of Micah, Evan, Zane and Marissa; and beloved brother of Sarah Bowers. Matthew will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at TIMOTHY K. SLATER FUNERAL SERVICES INC., 425 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, PA 15210, 412-381-3337, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday. Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
