Warner Robins, GA- Floyd Daniel Rowell, 85, entered into rest on Friday, January 11, 2013.
Mr. Rowell was born on April 12, 1927 in Crawford County, Georgia. He retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and the End of the Rope Sunday School Class. Mr. Rowell was also very active in the community as a Freemason and was a member of the Robins Ramblers, 1800 Club, and the U.S. Dance Club. His wife, Ressie Mae Rowell; parents, William Daniel Rowell and Eva Yaughn Rowell; and brothers, Tom Rowell and Cecil Rowell; all preceded him in death.
Visitation will be Monday, January 14, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Flowers will be accepted or the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, Georgia 31069.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of arrangements.
