Pearl Hedge Holt, 94, of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, October 28, 2004, at Kennett.
Born March 18, 1910, in Hayti, daughter of the late Doc Arvil and Rosa Ella Davis Hedge, she was a rural mail carrier and a member of the Hayti First Baptist Church.
On May 28, 1928, in Hayti, she married Ralph D. Holt, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four children, Betty Mae Holt, Connie Sue Tomlinson, Ralph Dee Holt and Richard Paul Holt and one brother, Donald Eugene Hedge.
Survivors include one son, Winston Eugene Holt, of Lamar, Mo.; three sisters, Bessie Hedge, Dorothy Baker and Wanda Andrews, all of Hayti; nine grandchildren, Sharon Wilson, of Kennett, Mike Holt, of Stafford, Va., Scott and Rachel Holt, both of Flint, Mich., Cassie Isom and Carrie and Jason Tomlinson, all of Neelyville, Mo. Lori Majewski, of St. Louis, Mo., and Susan Holt Romine and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were Jason Tomlinson, Kenny Wilson, Jimmy Isom, Brian and Kevin Baker, Rick Majewski and Brian Romine.
