WASOLA, Mo. — Rhonda Marlene Powell, 38, of Wasola, Mo., formerly of Sallisaw, died Friday, March 8, 2002, in Springfield, Mo. She was born April 1, 1963, in Sallisaw. She was a homemaker, a home health-care provider and a Protestant. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial of cremains at Sallisaw City cemetery. She is survived by a son, Preston Powell of Sallisaw; her parents, Rudy and Shirley Jenkins of Sallisaw; a sister, Pamela Thigpen of Lafayette, La.; four brothers, Larry and Johnny Powell, Robert and Rudy Jenkins Jr., all of Sallisaw; her maternal grandmother, Maxine Woody of Sallisaw; paternal grandmother, Maude Powell of Bakersfield, Calif.
