Karen Sue Farmer, 28, of Mt. Vernon, Ky., formerly of Taylor County, was born in Taylor County Nov. 14, 1956. She died at 11:45 a.m., Friday, Nov. 16, 1984 at the Rockcastle County Hospital after an extended illness. She was of the Church of God faith. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Donald and Marjorie Edwards of Route 4, Campbellsville; her father and step-mother, Robert A. and Lana Sue Farmer of Casey Creek; two sisters and one brother: Sharon Thomas, Vickie Knifley, and Robert Farmer Jr., all of Campbellsville; one step-sister, Donnetta Ford of Campbellsville; maternal grandmother, Ardella Provenzano of Jasper, Indiana; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Schmidt of Jasper, Indiana; three nieces and one nephew; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Mike Cox and Bro. James Allen. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
