Perley M. Wooster, 92, of 569 Middle St., Amherst, died at his home early yesterday morning after an illness of nine months.
Born in New York City, April 20, 1878, he was a resident of Amherst for the past 30 years. Before his retirement he was employed as a machinist by the U.S. Automatic Corp., Amherst.
Mr. Wooster was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L., in November, 1961.
Friends may call at the Garland Funeral Home Amherst, tonight from 7 to 9 and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be at the funeral home Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert A. Happel, pastor of St. Peter United Church of Christ officiating.
Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
