Ruth Juanita (Woolbright) Anderson entered eternal life in Lindsay March 16, 2011. She was born on September 9, 1927 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Albert "Bert" Woolbright, d. 1956 and Stella Mae (Deckard) d. 1937. She grew up south of Lindsay, CA. with 2 brothers; (James, dec. of Anchorage, AK., and Jack, dec. of Merced, CA.) and 3 sisters: (Sylvia dec. of CO., Joyce, dec. of SF, CA., and Dee of Desert Hot Springs, CA. In 1945 she graduated from Lindsay High School and was soon to marry Troy J.A. Baggett (d. 2002) in 1947 settling in Tulare, CA. where they raised 2 children: Jeff and Jan. She was remarried in 1973 to Robert Anderson (d. 1994) from Porterville and they settled in Visalia, CA. where Ruth lived until going into convalescant care at a facility in her childhood home of Lindsay. Ruth served over 50 years in Tulare-Visalia health care field, primarily as a professional medical transcriptionist. (In pre-computer days, with a typewriter as her primary tool of the trade, her consistant keyboard speed exceeded 100 wpm!) Her employers included the original Tulare County Hospital, Tulare District Hospital, several area specialized physicians and included a few medical groups of specialties where she eventually created her own independent business.------This is part of her obituary that was printed in The Porterville Recorder on Mar. 27, 2011.
