Linda Jean Witt, 62, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Matt Thackerson officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Ms. Witt was born March, 21, 1950, in Amarillo to Ralph and Elouise Burrow. She had worked as a meat inspector for the USDA. Ms. Witt loved to sew and make quilts. She loved gardening and spending time with her family and always had a generous and giving spirit towards others.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna and Diane.

Survivors include two sons, Michael "Bubba" Jones and Jonathan Witt and wife Carla, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Cathy Jones of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Victoria Walker of Amarillo; two sisters, Jackie Burrow and Gail Schomisch, both of Las Vegas, and Sonya Mackey and Jimmy Earnest of Amarillo; and six grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Brandon, Rocky, Jonathan and Cody.
