Lorna died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Genoa Community Hospital.

Lorna Cyza was born April 23, 1931 in Silver Creek, Nebraska to Ned Sr. and Madeline (Pennington) Powers. She graduated from Silver Creek High School. On April 26, 1951 she was united in marriage to Robert Cyza at St. Lawrence Church in Silver Creek. The couple lived in Albion from 1951 1953 when they moved to Columbus. In 1955 Bob and Lorna started the Snow Top Drive-In which they operated for 21 years. In 1993 they moved to Silver Creek. She was a member of the Silver Creek United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary. Lorna enjoyed visiting with friends, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling to all the family related sporting events regardless of the time, place or weather.
