Callie McCubbin, 81, of Spurlington Road, Campbellsville, died at 10:18 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, in Campbellsville as the result of a pedestrian automobile accident occurring 6.3 miles east of Campbellsville on KY 744. Daughter of the late Henry Dangerfield and Ada Simpson Dangerfield, she was born in Green County, Ky., Sept. 2, 1914, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was married to Thurman McCubbin Dec. 22, 1928, who preceded her in death March 21, 1979. McCubbin is survived by one son and two daughters-in-law, Stanley and Betty McCubbin of Campbellsville and Jean McCubbin of Louisville; three grandsons, Stanley McCubbin Jr. of Campbellsville and Donnie McCubbin and Larry McCubbin, both of Louisville; six great-grandsons, Henry Todd McCubbin and Stanley McCubbin III, both of Campbellsville, and Donnie Wayne McCubbin, Tommy McCubbin, Timmy McCubbin and Scott McCubbin, all of Louisville; two great-great-grandsons, Donovan McCubbin and Shane McCubbin, both of Louisville; one brother and five sisters, George Dangerfield, Hallie Nunn, Vallie Creason and Cleo Wright, all of Greensburg, and Mattie Stilts and Ellen Paxton, both of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, William Thomas McCubbin; two brothers and three sisters, Robert Dangerfield, Johnsie Dangerfield, Nettie Dangerfield, Mae Bewley and Addie Crumpton. Funeral was at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by the Rev. William R. Beard. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were John D. Gaines, Paul Lacy, J.C. Magers, Ed McGuire, Brian Wise, Melvin Wise, Robert L. Wise and Donald Witham.
