HIGH POINT - Mrs. Berta Southern Callicutt, 81, of 1402 Delk Drive died Friday at her residence.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cumby Eastchester Drive Mortuary. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
A native of Guilford County, she was a member of Green Street Baptist Church and Sunday school.
Surviving are son, Ronald Callicutt of High Point; daughters, Mrs. Doris Hipps of New Orleans, Mrs. Jeanne Rathz of St. Charles, Mo.; sisters, Mrs. Jerry Hardister of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Mrs. Frankie Melvin of Tucker, Ga.; brother, Gilbert Southern of Winston-Salem; stepbrothers, the Rev. Paul Cassell of Gastonia, Elmo Cassell of Cary; stepsisters, Mrs. Kathleen Kennedy of Lincolnton, Mrs. Winnie O'Neil of Durham; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence and at the residence of Ronald Callicutt, 1025 Oak View Road.
