He was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, a lifetime member of the Progress Home Association, VFW Post 148, Lower Paxton Golden Age Club Bowling League and Lower Paxton Tuesday Morning Retired Men's Bowling League.
Surviving are his wife, Louise D.; a son, L. Jay Davis Jr., at home; a daughter, Anel D. Buskey of Easton; four brothers, Harold of Berlin, Germany, Ray of Klingerstown, Lawrence of Lower Paxton Twp. and Guy of Halifax; a sister, Anna Byerly of California; and two granddaughters.
