GRIGGS, Okla. - Swany Opal Twombly, 95, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, in Boise City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Plainview School auditorium at Griggs with Lloyd Mattocks officiating. Burial will be in Marella Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City.
Mrs. Twombly was born to George W &
Grace A Flickinger Grabeal on Dec. 21, 1905, at Kansas. She married George C. Twombly on June 7, 1926, at Stratford, Texas.
Survivors include two sons, Leo Twombly of Texhoma and Ion Twombly of Joshua, Texas; two daughters, Esther Current of Hutchinson, Kan., and Nell Phetteplace of Waxahachie, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Cimarron Nursing Home.
