Louise married Lester Ellis in 1947 and they lived in Tecoma until he died in 1954. She later went back to Missouri for a visit and met Henry Birr in Illinois, whom she married in the First Christian Church in Mexico (MO) in 1961. They lived in Missouri, Illinois and Tecoma, Washington, where he died in 1974. Louise married David Ahrens on March 27, 1983, and they lived in Tecoma until their deaths.
At the age of 80, she was living alone in Tecoma and was robbed and killed in her residence.
