Rita Reber 67, formerly of Taylorville, died July 26, 1998 in the home of her daughter, Bonnie Zuehlke in Borth, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Reber was born April 29, 1931 in Taylorville, the daughter of Dorice and Maybel Wynn Adams. She was raised in Taylorville and lived there until moving to Wautomia, Wisconsin area about 1954, where she lived a number of years prior to moving to Berlin, Wisconsin area. She had been living with her daughter for the last two years in Borth. Mrs. Reber was a factory worker in Berlin and had been a cook at restaurants in Taylorville, Wautoma and Berlin.
She first married a McKinney and then married Howard (Gene) Reber, they divorced.
Surviving are a son, James McKinney and wife Barv of Gillett, Wisconsin; two daughters, Bonnie Zuehlke of Borth, Wisconsin and Dorris Baggs of Taylorville; six grandchildren including Tony Baggs of Taylorville, Timothy Baggs of Springfield, Missouri; 6 great grandchildren, including Andrew, Victoria and Kaytlyn all of Taylorville; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paretns; a grandson, Daniel McKinney; two brothers Ralph andRay Adams, a sister Elaine Meeks and a nephew Dale True.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thrusday and from 9 a.m. Friday until time of the service at the funeral home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday July 31, 1998 at the Ruminski Funeral Home in Redgranite, Wisconsin with the Rev. Dorothy Heckner-Mendonica officiating. Burial will be in the Foster Road Cemetery, Redgranite, Wisconsin.
