Mary Alice Herbert, 79, of Penn Hills and Oakmont died May 28, 2004, at Seneca Place in Penn Hills. Born Feb. 25, 1925, in Verona, she was the daughter of John and Clara Bell (Keene) Mull. She was a retired head teller at Mellon Bank of Oakmont. Mrs. Herbert was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Verona and Star of Bethlehem Order of Eastern Star No. 103. She was her preceded in death by her husband, William Herbert; and son, John Herbert. Surviving are her children, Kathleen Herbert of New Jersey and Bronwyn Rutter of Penn Hills; and grandson, Rick Rutter. Friends were received at Burket-Truby Funeral Home. Private interment was at Verona Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, Verona.
