Burial services for Paul Horatio Thompson, 52, were conducted March 3 at Macy's Chapel by Elder Dickinson of the Seventh Day Adventist church. Interment was in Hopewell Cemetery.

Thomson was born February 4, 1895, at Junction City, Idaho, the son of Elmer E. Thompson and Laurabelle Schwartz Thompson. In 1917 he was married to Marie Gustafson in McMinnville. He had lived in Oregon since 1918 and in Portland for the past four years.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Thompson; the widow, Marie; two sons, Elton and Keith, both of Los Angeles; and four sisters, Lillian Hall, Seattle, Elsa Crosby, Long Beach, Edith Parcoast, Idaho, and Doris Starkey, Long Beach.

Pallbearers for the service were Waldo Maker, Merle Campbell, Lowell Campbell, Hiram Terrill, Edward Nelson, and Kirk Walling.
