Muncie-Bonnie A. Payne, 82, passed away Wednesday afternoon, at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on April 23, 1930 in Elwood, the daughter of, Alonzo and Emma (Cope) Owens.
Bonnie is a 1948 graduate of Selma High School. She married Charles Payne in 1972 and he preceded her in death 1995. Mrs. Payne enjoyed bowling at the Muncie Lanes on and afternoon Ladies League. She was also a member of the Warner Gear Sympathy Club. Her family was very precious to her and she enjoyed activities with them.
Survivor's include, two sons, five grandchildren, one sister,
Besides her husband of 23 years, Charles, she is preceded in death by her son, Randy Norris in 1972; her parents; four brothers; two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor James Ballenger officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Saturday, January 12, 2013, from 12:00 P.M. until service time.
