There will be a memorial service for H. Tommy Stayner at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Macken Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Horntvedt officiating. The body was cremated. Private burial will be in in Waltham.
Mr. Stayner, 69, of 915 Fourth St. S.E., a cook, died of complications of a stroke April 23 at his home.

He was born July 3, 1928. Mr. Stayner was a cook at Michaels Restaurant and the Kahler in Rochester and previously at the Holiday Inn in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He moved to Rochester from Cedar Rapids in 1976. He was a member of Zumbro Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Margaret Berge of Brownsdale, Edna (Mrs. Raymond) Wulff of Charles City, Iowa, Erma (Mrs. George) Grovdahl of Sargeant and Madaline (Mrs. Wayne) Groteluschen of Rochester; and a brother, Ray of Rockford, Iowa. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Memorials are suggested to Zumbro Lutheran Church.
Macken Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
