Margaret M. Sáiz, age 79, a resident of Albuquerque, was born on January 4, 1934 and passed away on January 8, 2013.
Margaret is survived by her husband of sixty years Pricy, her children, Margaret Ann Sáiz and her companion, Eddie Chávez, Lorraine Sáiz, Lawrence Sáiz and his wife, Gail, Suzanne Sáiz and her companion, Steve Chávez and Cathy Caldwell and her husband, Lawrence, sisters, Theresa Lucero, Nora Vargas, Gloria Maestas and Georgia Atencio, brothers, Willie Martínez, Benny Martínez, Joe Martínez and Richard Baca, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Margaret Sáiz was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Ronald, grandson, Dominic Smith, great-granddaughter, Annalisa Reynolds, four sisters and six brothers.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW. Final visitation will be on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Josephs Drive NW with Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Alexander, Joe Flores, James Herrera, Danny Luján, Andrew Mirabal and Phillip Preciado. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
