Jonathan Tuttle, s. of William and Elizabeth Tuttle, has no recorded date of birth. He was bp. July 2, 1637 at the Boston, Mass. 1st Church[1] and d. Oct. 4, 1705 at New Haven, Conn.

By 1664, Jonathan m. Rebecca Bell, who d. May 2, 1676 at New Haven. They had the following children b. of record at New Haven:

• i. Rebecca Tuttle, b. Sept. 10, 1664, m. Isaac Dayton.

• ii. Mary Tuttle, b. Feb. 7, 1666/7, m. William Frederick.

• iii. Jonathan Tuttle, Jr., b. Apr. 6, 1669, d. unm circa 1700.

• iv. Simon Tuttle, b. Mar. 11, 1670/1, m. Elizabeth Abernathy.

• v. William Tuttle, b. May 25, 1673, m. Mary Abernathy.

• vi. Nathaniel Tuttle, b. Feb. 25, 1675/6, m. Esther Doolittle.
