Terry M. Lamb of Newton, Alabama died Friday, January 4, 2013, at his home following a long battle with cancer. He was 59. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Brent and Rev. Roger Campbell officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Newton City Cemetery under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Sunday. Flowers will be accepted or the family ask that memorials be made to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303. Terry was born July 3, 1953 in Dothan, Alabama, son of Huey Max and Louise Watson Lamb. Terry served in the U.S. Army as a firefighter. He also worked with HBAC Construction as an electrician. He was preceded in death by his father, Huey M. Lamb. Survivors include his mother, Louise W. Lamb, Newton, AL; sister, Tammy Potts (Mark), Newton, AL; niece, Brittney Palmer (Brandon), and their son, Easton, Newton, AL; nephew, Kendall Potts, Newton, AL; daughter, Tori Hines, Birmingham, AL; two grandsons: Travis Harbuck and Aaron Greene; three step-daughters: Brandie M. Brannon (Tom), Huntsville, AL, April Salter (Joey), Samson, AL and Erica Brown (Trae), Panama City, FL; six step-grandchildren; aunt, Pauline Lamb Wood, Ozark, AL; and uncle, William D.
