Mr. Paul P. Carter was the son of Mr. Jessie P. Carter and Mrs. Bertha Boyd Carter. Mr. Carter was a retired farmer, logger and a member of Mount Leon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife. Mrs Virginia Carter of the home, his son, Johnny Carter and wife, Denise of Longs, SC, four daughters, Linda Faircloth and husband Clayton of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Paulette Rathbun and husband Paul of Longs, SC, Sherill Stalvey of Longs, SC and Laurie Chestnut and husband Joseph of Conway, SC; one sister Louise Chestnut of Myrtle Beach, SC and many loving grand and great-grandchildren.
