J. D. Burns, 71, died Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville.

He was Born July 13, 1941, to Ted and Marie Cole Burns.

He was a Farmer.

Graveside Services for the Family were at 6 a.m. Saturday, January 5, at Carter's Chapel Cemetery in the Altitude Community with Bro. Bill Moore Officiating.
The Sons were in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his Wife, Margie Butler Burns, of Booneville; five Sons, Johnny and Wife, Rhonda; Tracy and Wife, Celeste; Steve and Wife, Cindy; and Bryan and Wife, Sonia; all of Booneville; and Patrick and Wife, Laura, of Magnolia, TX; two Sisters, Nelodene Tidwell of Verona; and Blinda Dunaway and Husband, Mike, of Booneville; seven Grandchildren, Taylor, Connor, Allie, Logan Tate, Ella, Beau and Presley; many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; and his Lifelong Friend, Dr. Vernon Chase.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ted and Marie.
