William F. (sic) Gephart, 79, of Route 3, Fresno, a retired farmer, dropped dead of a heart attack in a field near Chili while walking from his home to the general store in Chili, Saturday morning. Coshocton County D. S. McDill said Mr. Gephart had been ailing since he suffered a stroke a year ago.
A native of Bucks township, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Gephart and was born September 6th, 1866.
Surving are the widow, Amanda Difenbach Gephart; a son, Clarence, near Chili; a granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Jacob Bretzius.
Short services from the residence of the son Tuesday at 2 p.m. will be followed by services at 2:30 p.m. at the Chili Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. Henry Voss will officaiate and burial in Renner's cemetery will be in charge of the Lentz Funeral Home.
